I’m Joseph Ogundemuren, a proud UNISON activist, community leader, and equality advocate. I’m standing for the Black Members’ Male Seat on UNISON’s National Executive Council (NEC) because I believe every member deserves representation that’s collaborative, bold, and rooted in justice.

​With years of hands-on experience supporting colleagues in grievances, disciplinary cases, and workplace negotiations, I’ve earned a reputation as a trusted voice and effective advocate for  members — particularly those facing discrimination.

I am proud to lead with integrity, standing up for fairness, inclusive leadership, and true accountability. I’ve consistently used my platform to challenge injustice and build solutions that center Black workers’ voices, rights, and dignity.
